Final Debate Watch Party a Success!
Over 25 people crammed into a club member's house to watch the third and final debate. With standing room only it was a packed house. After the debate there was a delicious BBQ consisting of hot dogs, burgers and tri-tip.
The CP Dems would like to thank the Political Science club for showing up and contributing food to the event.
All who showed up cheered on Senator Obama as he took on Senator McCain during the debate. Go Obama!

Congresswoman Lois Capps Visits Cal Poly
Tonight the CP Dems were proud to house our district's congresswoman, Lois Capps.
She spoke to a packed room of club members and students.
The club will be hanging out with her again on Saturday in Santa Barbara! Come with us and help GET OUT THE VOTE!

After she is done speaking we will talk about Santa Barbara and other opportunities to get involved with local politics.

CP DEMS BBQ A Success
The BBQ held this past Saturday was a complete success. We had to have someone pick up more food as we ran out of burgers and hot dogs.
Fifteen people ended up showing up and feasting and discussing upcoming politics.
Let's hope tomorrow night's debate watch party is a success as well!

18 people showed up to watch Biden debate Palin.
What a crowd! We plated Palin Bingo and had three winners. Congratulations to them!
